Bray in Co. Wicklow (known as The Garden of Ireland) is only a mere 20kms from Dublin City Centre. Our lovely town is serviced by the train "DART" that takes you along the beautiful coastline from Dublin to Bray. This trip goes through the most amazing and scenic coastline in Dublin. The DART takes 40 minutes so come visit us here in Bray have the best of both worlds the coast and only 40 minute sfrom Dublin by train.

The DART train station is only a five minute walk to our Hotel.

Public Transport

The Royal Hotel is located a mere 5 minute walk from Bray’s DART Station. The DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transport) is a regular service and a journey into Dublin’s City centre takes merely 40 minutes. Also, situated opposite the hotel is a bus stop with two services (Bus Numbers 145 & 84) which will take you directly into Dublin’s city centre.

Directions from Dublin Airport

At Airport Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the M1 SPUR (signposted Dublin, Belfast M1)
At roundabout take the 2nd exit, then join the M1 motorway (signposted Dublin)
Leave the M1 at junction 1 (Junction with M50) then take left-hand lanes, then join the M50 motorway (signposted Other Routes, Southbound)
At Junction 6 continue forward onto the M50 toll motorway (signposted Southbound – Toll)

Continue forward onto the M11 motorway (signposted Wexford)
From the M50 and N11, take the Bray North exit (Junction 5) and turn right into Bray at the roundabout.
Follow the main road through Bray. – Visible from a distance, The Royal Hotel, Merrill Leisure Club is located just above the River Dargle, on the left-hand side of the hill.

Start out on Terminal Road South
At roundabout take the 1st exit onto Terminal Road South (signposted Port Exit, All Routes)
Continue forward onto Terminal Road North
Bear left onto Tolka Quay Road
Turn right onto Bond Drive

Branch left, then merge onto the R131

• The Dargle Car Park which is located at the rear of the hotel and is owned and managed by a 3rd party company offer hotel guests a special rate of € 5.00 for 24 hours.
• Parking space is subject to availability on first come – first serve basis.
